When a new staff member joins your practice, you will want to give them access to the Remedly platform by creating their new account in User Accounts. This article will outline how to add new accounts.
1. Go to User Accounts.
You can get to User accounts from 2 places:
- Main menu -> Practice account -> User Accounts
- Scheduler -> Practice Account -> User Accounts
2. Click New User.
3. Fill in the user information as needed, heeding the guidelines below:
Title
There are two sections to chose from and it's important to select the correct section:
- Provider: has ability to commit their own chart/op notes
- Staff: must route their chart/op notes to a Provider to be committed
Within each section there are many titles but it's more important to select the correct section than the optimal title because it's very difficult to change the section once the account is created. The title only displays in the patient portal.

Security Features
There are two security features:
- IP-based log in restrictions: limits the user to access Remedly only from the inputted IP address(es), such as your office IP address
- Access Time: limits the user to access Remedly during days of week and time periods configured
