The patient statement is a detailed summary of the medical services provided to a patient, including itemized charges, payments, and adjustments. It also outlines the patient's outstanding balance and any payments due. Statement Settings Management
Patient Statement settings can be found:
1. under the patient's profile.
Just go to Patients and choose the desired patient
then choose Statement Settings in Statements
2. under Patients Statements
You have many configuration options under Statement Settings:
- Due date interval
- Contact billing support details
- Make check payable to
- Statement footer information
Tips: You can add here the URL for your practice.
Bulk Patient Statements
In order to generate patient statements in bulk, go to Patients Statements and click New Statement
Choose the desired options and click Generate.
The system will generate all statements in a single PDF file.
The statement will be documented with delivery method On paper to show that the statement was mailed via postal service to the patient.
Sending Patient Statements via Email
The patient statement can be sent via email to the patient. The email includes a secure link which opens the statement as a PDF.
Once the email is sent, Last Issued Date is updated based on the date of email and Delivery Method is updated to Electronically.
Sending Patient Statements via Email with Payment Link
You can share a patient statement via email including a payment link if your RCM account is activated with our merchant services partner.
