Practice Setup
To get your Remedly account setup, there are key items that need to be configured including your locations, services and practitioners. To start, navigate to the Settings tab, then Practice Setup.
In the Main Organization section you can configure organization details, departments, and locations.
Organization Details
Organization details include:
- Basic details (organization name, main location, contact details, summary)
- Clinical information (NPI, taxonomy, speciality)
- Billing information (legal business name, EIN, billing address).
Note: Organization Details will be used as the primary information when submitting claims. Departments and Locations information will be shown in the claim as secondary addresses.
In order to edit the information in any of these sections, just click the Edit icon.
When finished, be sure to click Save to retain any changes.
Locations
We recommend first to add the locations for your practice and then assign them to departments.
Note: there can be a single address for one or multiple departments.
In the Locations section, you can input the different locations for your organization.
In order to add a new location, click +Add Location.
Fill in the address fields with the location information and click Save to retain the address information.
Then click Save to retain the new location.
Edit Location and Add a Room
Once the new location has been added, you can Edit the location in order to add Rooms to the location.
In order to add a room, create a room name and choose its status from the dropdown list.
Then mark if the room is available for scheduling or not and provide a description if needed.
Note: when the status of the room is set to Permanently Closed or Temporary Closed, you won't be able to schedule appointments for this room even if the checkbox 'Available for Scheduling' is selected. The checkbox works only for Active status.
Be sure to Save your changes.
To review the details of each location, click on the location name.
To go back to the list of locations, use the blue arrow.

Departments
In the Departments section you can review and edit the various departments for your practice. For example, your practice may include multiple departments such as med spa, dermatology, primary care, and other departments all operating within a single practice.
In order to add a new department, click +New Department.
Fill in the required and optional fields and save the information.
The department will be added to the list.
You will be able to review and edit the details of each department by clicking the department name.
To return to the list of departments, use blue arrow.
