We are excited to introduce improvements to how prepaid packages are handled within Remedly. These updates simplify the invoicing process and ensure accuracy when patients purchase multiple prepaid packages with the same treatments. Here are the key enhancements and how they benefit you.
Key Improvements and Instructions
1. Automatic Prepaid Package Selection at Scheduling: We’d like to remind you of a long-standing feature in Remedly: when scheduling an appointment for a patient who has fully paid for a prepaid package, selecting the correct procedure treatment as the appointment type will trigger Remedly to automatically display the patient's prepaid package during invoicing. This ensures the right package is applied at the time of billing, helping to streamline your workflow and minimize errors.
2. Seamless Invoicing for Prepaid Treatments: As a reminder, Remedly has long supported automatic invoicing for prepaid treatments. When you schedule an appointment using a treatment that’s part of the patient’s prepaid package, Remedly will automatically fill the invoice with the treatment selected during scheduling. This feature ensures that the correct treatment is applied to the invoice without manual input, saving you time and reducing the risk of errors.
3. Smart Prepaid Package Depletion (NEW!): For patients who have purchased multiple prepaid packages containing the same treatment, and when an appointment is scheduled using a regular treatment instead of one from the list of Available Prepaid Procedures, Remedly now smartly selects the oldest prepaid package with sufficient treatments available. This ensures packages are used in the correct order, optimizing depletion and preventing confusion.
However, we still recommend that you select the specific Available Prepaid Procedure that matches the prepaid package when scheduling.
4. Clear Package Details on Invoice (NEW!): Invoices will now clearly display essential details about the prepaid package being depleted, including the package name and the original purchase date. This added transparency helps your team easily track which package is being used, enhancing record accuracy.
These updates simplify managing prepaid packages, reduce administrative errors, and ensure a smoother patient experience. By automating package selection and improving invoice clarity, we make your workflow more efficient while maintaining accuracy in billing and package management.
We hope these improvements will enhance your day-to-day operations!
