If you use sketches for charting, that's no problem! Remedly offers a great tool for sketching on both the body diagram and the patient's photo.
Draw a Sketch on a Body Diagram
1. Go to your patient's chart. To do this, click the patient's appointment, then write a procedure note, or search for the patient by name on the search bar.
2. Click desired body orientation to sketch.
3. The body orientation and sketching tool will pop up at the bottom.
Sketching Tools
- Click to see how each icon works.
- Click to change background image.
- Option 2: If using a desktop, you can upload a picture straight from your desktop.
- Option 3: If the patient already has before and after photos uploaded, you can use those to sketch on as well.
If you are using a mobile device, you can upload a picture from your device or take a photo. When you take a photo, it will upload directly into Remedly. It does not load into the device for HIPAA compliance.
- Select the drawing tools to sketch on the diagram.
- Click to highlight the area you want to focus on.
- Click to zoom in & click to zoom out.
- Click to add text to the sketch.
- Click to add a procedure to the sketch. You may add multiple procedures to one sketch if wanted. The different procedure colors (are added in treatment setup) will create an interpretive legend for your sketch.
In order to remove unnecessary treatments from the list, use the red X to delete a treatment from the sketch legend. - Click to draw on the sketch and then click which appointment procedure color you wish to draw with.
- Click to save your sketch and photo.
Note: These sketches are only saved in the Patient Notes and NOT saved in Before and After Photos on the patients chart. If you wish to save it in Before and After Photos, open the PDF of that appointment's note, scroll to the bottom, download those images and then upload them to the Before and After Photos section.
