Duplicate Fee Estimates
When creating a fee estimate for a patient, you now have the option of duplicating the estimate and edit the duplicate to reflect various fee combinations. This is helpful when creating multiple estimates for the same patient, making minor variations within each estimate, to show the patient different options efficiently.
In the Financial Dashboard, select Fee Estimates.
Find the estimate you want to duplicate. From the Action arrow, select Duplicate.
After editing the estimate to reflect the needed adjustments, select either Duplicate Estimate to save the new estimate or Add to Schedule to both save and schedule the new estimate.
Include Set Dollar Amount in Commission Rates
Commission rates can now be set as either a percentage or a fixed amount for more compensation flexibility.
From the Commission Rates tab under Practice Account, select the appropriate location and staff member.
Select either Performed Treatments (Visit Reason) or Products Sold (Inventory) to input the selected staff's commission rate.
- Select each category to auto-select all sub categories quickly then edit as needed.
- Once selected, use the Apply same rate to all button in the top right corner to apply the same commission rates to all selected options.
- Make sure not to leave an empty space after inputting the commission rate.
- Click the Save button on the bottom left of the screen.
It is possible to input rates into both the Percentage and Fixed Amount columns:
When applying the sale to the appropriate staff, you can choose which option is preferred for the invoice:
Commission for Treatments/Inventory within a Prepaid Package
Individual treatments and inventory included as part of a prepaid package can now have commission rates applied instead of commission rates applying only to the entire prepaid package.
Commissions need to be set up in Commission Rates under Practice Account for the individual treatments or inventory and the appropriate staff member.
For more information on setting up Commission Rates, please see the following article:
The prepaid packages also need to be configured using the treatments or inventory identified to receive a commission rate.
For more information on setting up Prepaid Packages, please see the following article:
Once the prepaid package is sold by the staff member assigned to receive a commission, then creating the invoice will prompt the user to assign the sale to the appropriate staff.
As a final verification, the commission will need to be approved by management before being included in the commissions report:
The commissions report will show the commission for the line item in the prepaid package for the staff member to receive:
