Deliver Commissions Based on Profit
Commissions can now be calculated based on net profit by using the three new columns of data provided in the Commissions Report:
- Cost of Goods Sold
- Income
- Net Commission Amount
These additional columns facilitate commissions to be paid on the profit made per item vs. on the retail price.
Appointment Reminder Email
An email is now sent to patients one day before their appointment to remind them of their appointment, regardless of whether or not the patient has already confirmed for their appointment.
The email content is configurable under Automated Communications.
Improve Medical History Default Questions
Two of the Medical History default questions were updated for a more comprehensive overview of patient's medical history:
- "Do you have any drug allergies?" has been updated to "Do you have any allergies or adverse reactions?"
- "Are you taking medications such as Diet Pills, Vitamins, or Herbs?" has been updated to "Are you taking any medications, including prescription and non-prescription?"
Provide Consistent Notes Viewed Across All Staff in Scheduler
Scheduler notes can communicate information about the column header (staff, room, or resource) for all staff within the practice who have these columns activated.
Hovering over the 3 dots will display historical changes to the note.
Quickly Access Patient History from the Scheduler
Clicking on the patient history blue card icon on the appointment will load patient history in a separate tab for easy access from the scheduler.
Color Indicators for Rescheduled and Self-Scheduled Appointments
The color of Rescheduled and Self-scheduled appointment icons have been changed to visually indicate whether patients are coming in for their appointment:
- Rescheduled appointment icon changed from green to red (patient not coming in)
- Self-Scheduling appointment icon changed from red to yellow (patient is coming in)
Adjust Estimate PDFs to match Invoice PDFs
In order to provide patient clarity on what billable items the practice is able to discount, Procedure Fees (charged by practice) and Other Fees (charged by other entities) are subtotaled with Adjustments (discounts) summarized at the bottom. Other Fees typically cannot be discounted by the practice.
This update matches the invoice layout to provide more consistency for the patient.
Improve Search Results for Misspelled Insurance
When inputting insurance company name in patient demographics, the input field will now allow you to easily add a new custom insurance company name or edit your input to select from the preloaded insurance company name results.
Add New Provider Titles in User Accounts
Two new provider titles have been added under the Providers dropdown menu in User Accounts:
- Laser Technician
- Senior Laser Technician
