Custom Job Titles
If your provider or staff has multiple licenses/certificates and provides various services for your practice, you can add up to 5 job titles per user to be visible for patients and employees.
To do this, navigate to User Accounts, identify the user account and click Edit.
Open the job titles drop-down menu and multi-select up to 5 job titles.
If a person has more that one job title, please select their primary job title by clicking Mark as primary.
To change the primary job title, click the check box to display a Mark as primary button for the associated job title, then click the Mark as primary button.
All of the selected job titles will be visible for patients in their patient portal as well as in the automated communication emails. In other places, only the primary job title will be shown.
If the list does not contain a job title that you need, you can add your own custom job title by clicking the + button and then Add new Job Title.
Add the name of the new job title and click Add.
The job title will appear in the list.
You can also edit and archive your custom job titles with the help of the corresponding buttons.
When you are ready, click Save to retain the changes.
Preferred Patient Pronouns
Having the ability to choose preferred patient pronouns helps to always address patients in their desired way.
Remedly allows patients to choose from the following default options:
- he/him
- she/her
- they/them
- ze/hir
- other
When the patient chooses the Other option, a desired combination of pronouns can be inputted into the text field.
The desired patient pronouns can be marked in 3 places:
1. Patient demographics
2. Medical history on the provider's side
3. Medical history in the patient portal
When the changes are saved, the preferred pronouns will be available in the appointment window.
Archiving Locations
If your practice moves to a new location, you can archive your old location, so that it is no longer visible when creating appointments.
Note: A location cannot be archived if there are inventory or prepaid packages associated with the location.
To do so, go to Practice Account -> Practice Profile -> Locations tab.
Click Archive Location icon using the Edit arrow on the location to be archived.
Confirm the action.
Note: If there are any prepaid packages or inventory associated with the location, you'll be asked to remove or move them first.
When the location is archived, it will be marked as archived, but all the appointments associated with the location will stay in the calendar with the columns greyed out and unavailable for further usage.
The location will not be available for selection in the appointment window as well.
The location will not be available for Appointment Requests in the patient portal or for Self Scheduling appointments.
To remove the archived location from your calendar, you can turn it off in the columns manager.
For more information, please see the following article:
If any users were assigned to this location in User Accounts, the location will no longer be associated with their account in User Accounts.
If you archived the location by mistake, you can unarchive it with the help of the Unarchive icon.
The unarchived location will become available for further usage.
Practice Identified in Text Disclaimer
When using our Two Way Texting feature for sending text messages to patients, it is important to identify your practice as a sender of the initial text message. To do this, we have added a practice identifier to the HIPAA message which is sent out to the patient together with their first text message. This way the patient will know that it is your practice who is sending the text.
Feature Icons in Main Menu
Icons have been added to the Main Menu to more clearly identify the list of options provided for easier navigation.
