To check if an automated email was sent to a patient, navigate from the main menu on the dashboard or on the left side menu of the calendar to Audit Logs -> Patient Communication.
The Patient Communication Log lists all emails sent to patients sorted by the most current.
To find a specific email, use the filters to search by patient name or date of email then click Update Filter.
To verify the email contents, click View.
Turn on the Patient Communication Log
If the Patient Communication Log is not turned on for your account, you can turn it on by following the steps below:
1. Go to Practice Account -> User Accounts.
2. Select the User for whom you want to turn the logs on and click Edit.
3. In Global Permission Expand the Messages section and turn the toggle button for Patient Communication on.
