If a patient has credit on their account and you'd like to move that credit to another patient's account, you can use the Gift Card functionality to move funds between patient accounts.
There are the basic steps to follow:
- On the patient account which is gifting the funds, create an invoice for a gift card for the amount to be gifted. The gift card Item Description should document the reason and the recipient for the funds transfer.
- Use Credit as your payment method to pay for the invoice.
- Copy the gift card number from the gifting patient's account to redeem the gift card on the patient account receiving the funds.
