Patient ID is now visible across EHR and RCM
Having HIPAA in mind, we've provided patient-related activities with Patient ID's, which previously were only shown in patient's profile view. That enables you to refer to a patient by their ID rather than name, protecting their identity (e.g. if there's a crowded lobby, and you has to discuss some details with a provider on the phone). Now Patient ID's are available in different places of the system.

EHR: Improved patient notification update when an appointment is cancelled, rescheduled or set as no-show
Previously, you could choose whether to notify patients when canceling, rescheduling or marking an appointment as a no-show. This led to confusion, as patients would still see the original appointment in their calendar. Now, the system automatically sends an email to cancel the event in the patient's calendar, preventing any misunderstandings. This ensures patients are always aware of the latest changes to their appointments.
If patient does not have an email, system will notify you that email can not be saved.
Some situations require you to reschedule an appointment that has a "Cancelled" status. Previously patient would be notified, but this is no longer necessary, since the patient has already been notified that there was a cancelation.
