Improved RCM Reports: Better Patient Identification and Faster Navigation
We’re excited to introduce enhancements to RCM reporting that make it easier to identify patients and quickly navigate to the information you need. These updates improve data clarity, consistency, and workflow efficiency and are now available in the following reports:
A/R Aging Report
Claims Overview
Claims Submitted
Eligibility Checks
Patients Overview
Payments by Encounters
Payments by Payment Category
Payments by Payor and by Service Code
Remittance Details Report
Remittance Overview Report
Patient ID Added to Reports
A new Patient ID column is now available across key RCM reports.
Claims Overview Report
The Patient ID appears next to the Patient Name columns for easier identification.
Each Patient ID is clickable, allowing you to navigate directly to the patient’s record in just one click.
This makes it faster to move from report insights to the patient details you need.
Standardized Patient Name Format
To improve readability, sorting, and filtering, patient names are now displayed in a consistent structured format (three separate columns) across reports:
Last Name
First Name
Middle Name
Patients Overview Report
This standardized format ensures clearer data organization and a more consistent reporting experience.
Direct Links to Key Records
Reports now include clickable links for key system records, enabling faster navigation throughout the system.
For example, where reports previously displayed identifiers such as Claim ID or Bill ID, these values are now interactive links. With a single click, you can jump directly from the report to the corresponding record.
Aging Report
This improvement helps reduce manual searching and supports more efficient workflows.
These updates are designed to make RCM reporting more intuitive, connected, and efficient, helping your team move seamlessly from insights to action. 🚀
Visibility for Provider-Level Adjustments in ERA Remittances
We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to the ERA Remittance page that improves transparency and access to important remittance details. With this update, users can now easily view provider-level adjustments directly within the system - no additional investigation required.
Provider-Level Adjustments Section
When provider-level adjustments are present in a remittance, the ERA Remittance page now displays a new “Provider-Level Adjustments” section at the bottom of the page.
This section includes:
A table listing each provider-level adjustment
The adjustment code and associated description as indicated in the remittance
A total row summarizing the adjustments
This gives users a clear and organized view of all provider-level adjustments associated with the remittance.
Also, to make adjustment codes easier to interpret, the system now includes a hover tooltip glossary.
When hovering over an adjustment code, users will see a description explaining the code’s meaning.
This provides quick contextual guidance without leaving the page.
Summary Indicators at the Top of the Page
To make these adjustments even easier to track, two new summary fields have been added to the top of the ERA Remittance page:
Number of Provider Adjustments – shows how many provider-level adjustments are included in the remittance
Total Amount of Provider Adjustments – displays the combined monetary value of all adjustments
These quick indicators allow users to immediately understand whether adjustments are present and their overall impact.
This enhancement makes ERA remittance analysis clearer, faster, and more informative, helping teams quickly understand provider-level adjustments and their financial impact. 🚀
Clearer Field Name on the ERA Remittance Page
To make remittance information easier to interpret, we’ve updated the name of one of the fields on the ERA Remittance page. The label “Posted Amount” has been renamed to “Total Insurance Paid Amount.”
The new label more accurately reflects the value displayed in this field, which represents the total insurance-paid amounts indicated in the ERA (835) remittance data.
This update helps ensure the terminology on the page aligns more clearly with the underlying remittance information and supports a more intuitive user experience when reviewing ERA details.
This small but meaningful improvement makes ERA remittance data clearer and easier to understand at a glance. 🚀
