All custom payment methods will be added to the Payment Methods table below, including who created the payment method, when it was created, and the current status.
All active custom payment methods will be visible at the top of the list of payment methods while recording a payment.

A side menu enables editing or deactivating the payment method.
Grouped Appointments Notifications for Different Providers
Previously we announced a new feature which enabled choosing whether or not to send multiple appointment reminders to patients who have several appointments on the same day.
For more information on this feature, please see the following article:
Initially this feature was activated for patients with multiple appointments on the same day for the same provider. However we have improved this functionality to now activate for patients with multiple appointments on the same day with different providers.
In addition, the pop-up will no longer appear for the same scenario for multiple Time Block appointments.
Faster Commission Set Up Process
When setting up a commission for a provider for several procedures, you can apply the same % or $ commission amount across multiple treatments with a single button.
1. Select all the treatments that have the same commission.
2. Enter the commission percentage or the commission fixed amount.
3. Click Apply Same % to All or Apply Same $ Amount to All.
Note: Always remember to click the Save button in the bottom left of the screen to retain your changes.

Streamlined Commissions Approval Process
When approving a large number of commissions, select up to 100 commissions to display per page to improve the review process.
Select multiple commissions or the entire page of commissions using the top box, then the Approve All button to approve the selected commissions with ease.

Patient Input for Emergency Contacts
There are two new fields in Medical History under the Demographic Info tab. These fields ask the patient to input their emergency contact names and emergency contact numbers.
These questions, which are activated by default, will capture valuable emergency contact information.
In the patient portal these two additional fields appear when patients complete Medical History.
For more information on medical history, please see the following article:
Patient Appointment Prep via the Patient Portal
Patient check in is more efficient if patients have completed their digital paperwork in advance. To encourage this completion, the menu option Appointment Prep has been added to the patient portal with Medical History and Forms nested beneath. Red indicators focus the patient to complete the outstanding items before their appointment.
Documenting Out of Stock Inventory
Previously we enabled the ability to invoice out of stock inventory items, as outlined in the following article:
If an invoice now uses inventory which is out of stock, the stock levels will now display as a negative number. This provides more clarity on quantity needed when restocking the inventory item.
For more information on managing inventory, please see the following article:
Improved Birthday Specials Workflow
Birthday specials will be sent out on the first day of the month of a patient's birthday. An expiration date can be applied to the birthday special during its creation. If the expiration date is set to the minimum allowed, which is 1 month, then the patient will have 1 month after delivery date to claim the special.
The patient will receive an email informing them that a birthday special is waiting in their patient portal.
The birthday special will also appear in the patient portal in the Specials section.
For more information on birthday special functionality, please see the following article:
Access to Patient Communication Log
Patient Communication log is helpful for understanding and verifying emails sent to patients. Whereas previously more restricted, these logs are now available to all users under Audit Logs.
In addition to providing several details about the email, the contents of the email can also be viewed.
