To ensure that content inputted in the encounter or the patient chart are saved when needed, a warning will display if the provider tries to close an encounter or patient chart where changes have been inputted but not saved.
Patient Collected Credit Displays in their Appointment
If a payment such as a copay has been collected before a bill has been generated for the appointment, the payment will display in the appointment as a Credit amount, thereby showing status of copay collection. Once the bill is generated, the credit should be applied to the bill via the RCM.
