See a notification for Insurance companies that don't support Eligibility checks
As you are checking Eligibility for patients, it might happen that some of the Insurance companies do not support real-time electronic eligibility checks. Previously, encountering a failed eligibility check might have prompted multiple unsuccessful attempts to re-run it.
With our latest enhancement, however, you'll see a clear notification in case the payer does not support eligibility checks, whether you're checking the Insurance Company or the Insurance Plan Company:
This proactive notification will help prevent unnecessary retries and provide insight into when direct contact with the payer may be necessary to verify patient's eligibility.
Eligibility checks that failed for that reason won't land in the Eligibility Checks report under Reports, and won't be counted as eligibility requests used by the practice.
