Encounters list
With the latest update, we have added a new Encounters tab in the EHR that lists all encounters created within the appointments conducted by the practice.
Not only this allows to review all the encounters without navigating directly to each appointment, but also allows to quickly filter out the encounters that require additional attention (for instance, were not signed yet).
How to view all Encounters in your practice
To see the list of Encounters, navigate to the corresponding tab in the top menu. You'll see:
- Encounter ID (clickable),
- Encounter Name,
- Status (Signed, Not Signed, or Cancelled),
- Encounter Date,
- Patient Name,
- Department,
- Practitioner.
By clicking on the Encounter ID, you can open the Encounter to review all the details, sign the encounter, print it, or email to patient once signed.
You can also search by the Encounter ID using the search field at the top right:
You can sort the list by Status or Date, to see the most recent/old encounters, or group together Signed and Not Signed ones on the list:
How to filter Encounters using different parameters
To quickly find the encounters matching a certain criteria, you can make use of the workspace filters (set one or combine multiple).
You can also click Clear All once you no longer need them:
1. Filter the encounters that have a certain Status: Signed, Not Signed, or Cancelled:
2. Filter out all the encounters of a certain Patient by their name (start entering the name in the search field for faster search):
3. Quickly see all the encounters conducted by a certain Practitioner (start entering the name in the search field for faster search):
4. Filter the list to only show the encounters from specific Department(s):
