Patient Statements
Statement Settings
Patient Statement settings can now be found under the patient's profile. You can easily configure them from the patient statements.
You have many configuration options under Statement Settings:
- Due date interval
- Contact billing support details
- Make check payable to
- Statement footer information
Sending Patient Statements from Patient Profile
From the patient's profile, you can send the patient statement by either downloading a PDF of the patient statement to print and send by postal mail. Be sure to mark the statement as Mark as Issued to indicate that the statement was mailed to the patient.
The statement will be documented with delivery method On paper to show that the statement was mailed via postal service to the patient.
Automatic Posting of Adjustments
To improve workflows for billers, the following denial codes will no longer need to be reviewed. These codes include:
- CO-45
- PR-1
- PR-2
- PR-3
ERAs with these codes will automatically be posted in the Ledger as patient responsibility so do not need to be reviewed.
